Welcome to Wag the Dog and although 2012 is flying by, while it is still fairly young, let's all aim to make this a great year for animals and owners alike; everyone can help make a difference to animal welfare, it is all about giving what you can, whether that is time, money, care or even sharing a Facebook post.

Walking the walk, talking the talk...
Here at Wag the Dog, we love dogs and aim to understand them, we want to improve the quality of their life with their owners through better understanding and education of their behaviours and needs.
Our aim is to let dogs be dogs; to run, to play, to scamper and sniff, and basically do all the things that dogs love to do. We offer one to one attention, care and fun for all dogs that we provide a service to.
We pride ourselves in offering an all round service that incorporates as many aspects of your dogs life as possible and which will help to guarantee a happy, healthy pup at all times.
Wag the Dog is a Gold Coast based Dog Care and Dog Concierge business, we are fully insured, police checked, a member of PIAA and consultants hold a Pet First Aid and CPR qualification as well being passionate about animal care and welfare.
At Wag the Dog we really do walk the walk for your dog as well as talking the talk!
Services
Please note that we are currently not offering regular dog walking bookings - we will happily cover one off walks, or holiday care - but are not able to take on regular, long term bookings at this point.
However, we can happily offer you our 'Dog Concierge' service and match you and your furry best mate to the best alternative in your area, so please feel free to still contact us and ask for our help/advice.

Now Here: Pet Tech First Aid Classes
We are now proud to be able to offer Pet Tech Pet First Aid & CPR courses as part of our service; teaching Pet Tech’s PetSaver™ class is going to be a major component in spreading the word about adequate and competent pet care, primarily among pet owners, but also among pet professionals on the Gold Coast.

Thinking of those in need
For every service we provide a happy, homed dog, we donate $1.00 to a number of non-profit organisations, including the RSPCA and AWLQ; both great organisations that work to help as many animals in crisis as they can. All donations are paid monthly.
We're very excited to annouce that we have now raised over $2000 for animal organisations - a big thank you to all our doggie clients and Facebook friends, without whom this would not have been possible.
